Proposal Properties

This panel shows the properties for the current proposal and allows you to edit various settings including:
  • RFP Release Date
  • Proposal Due Date
  • Point of Contact - can be entered manually or selected from a pull-down list of all users with proposal access.
  • Approvers - selected from a pull-down list of all admins, or proposal groups with admins as members, that have proposal access. Selected users are able to process user account requests for the proposal that have been sent to the server for approval.
  • Default Approvers - selected from a pull-down list of the designated approvers. When a requestor has to choose approvers the default approvers will be pre-selected.
  • Status - selected from a pull-down list that is populated from a list defined in the Maintenance Tool.
  • Reference Number - simple text field, can be filled with customer-defined value.
Clicking on Block Admins brings up a list of regular admins in the zone that have access to the proposal. Admins selected in this list will retain their proposal access on the user side but will be blocked from access to the proposal on the admin side. Only the System Admin and Zone System Admins can use this feature.

The following settings can also be modified:
  • Daily Report - users with proposal access will have option to receive daily report
  • Users Can View All Email - users can see all emails, not just their own
  • Prompt Users to Update Workplan - on Check-out and Check-in, users will be prompted to update workplan if they own an open workplan task
  • Users Can Set Doc Status - on Check-in, users can update the document status
  • Doc Notification - on Check-in, Add File or Move File, users will be prompted to send a document notification.

Green indicates ON, red indicates OFF. If the daily report feature is turned off, and then turned on after a period of time, then only activity for the maximum of 24 hours if reactivated on Tuesday through Saturday, 48 hours if on Sunday, and 72 hours if on Monday is included.

Automatic Alerts can also be set, requiring no action on the user's part to send an alert. If Up is selected, alerts will be sent any time a file is Added or Checked In. If Down is selected, alerts will be sent any time a file is Downloaded, Checked Out or Copied to Local. Only actions that take place on the user side of VPC will result in an alert being sent. A recipient must also be specified. An alert consists of both a broadcast message and email being sent.
